KPMG announced as new partner in the 2022 Finance Director of the Year Awards

Accountable Recruitment, HSBC and Brabners are delighted to welcome KPMG on board as the new partner for the Finance Director of the Year Awards. Now in its 10th year the awards cover the Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales and Warrington regions. The prestigious Finance Director of The Year Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding work done by the region's tireless financial directors, rewarding the often under-estimated jobs they do.

Simon Massey, Managing Director at Accountable Recruitment commented; “We are delighted to welcome Jen Lee and KPMG to the team as we look forward to shortlisting our finalists. The awards are a well-established date in the North West business calendar and I’m very passionate about our regional businesses, having worked with so many talented FD’s. I really appreciate and understand what remarkable jobs they do, year in year out. As a result, I feel that they deserve some well-earned recognition.”

Jen Lee, KPMG added; “KPMG are delighted to sponsor this year’s Finance Director of the Year Awards. These awards celebrate the hard work of finance directors in the region and the important role they play in a business. I am looking forward to seeing who the nominees and winners are.”

Mark Rathbone, Brabners commented; “Brabners are really excited to continue with the sponsorship of the Finance Director of the Year Awards, alongside KPMG, Accountable and HSBC. We look forward to celebrating the immense talent of the region’s finance directors who play such a crucial role in any successful business, and to working with our new fellow sponsors, KPMG.“

Mark Rowan continued; “We are delighted to welcome KPMG into the sponsorship of the FD Awards and look forward to working with Jen Lee and her team to continue to showcase the superb FD talent we see across the wider region.”
