Adaptable Recruitment are excited to be working with a business in Bromborough looking for a Temporary Finance Assistant to assist with a reconciliation project within their finance team. This short-term opportunity, lasting approximately 3 weeks, is ideal for candidates seeking immediate work with a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be contributing to the completion of a high-priority reconciliation project, helping to ensure the financial records align accurately. Key duties include:

• Work on a large-scale reconciliation project, reviewing and matching financial data to ensure all records are accurate and up to date
• Identify and investigate any variances or discrepancies within the financial data, providing clear explanations and resolutions
• Analyse and verify individual transactions to ensure they align with internal financial systems
• Liaise with relevant departments to gather any missing information and resolve outstanding queries related to financial discrepancies.
• Ensure all findings are accurately documented and reported, maintaining clear records of the reconciliation process.
• Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required to meet the project's deadlines

What You'll Need:

• Prior experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
