Senior Accounts Payable Clerk
Warrington | £28,000 - £32,000 per annum | Full-time, Permanent

Adaptable Recruitment are working on behalf of a successful and growing business based in Warrington who are looking to appoint a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key part in the finance team, taking ownership of the purchase ledger and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day financial transactions. You will also assist with a range of banking duties, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of supplier invoices and credit notes
• Managing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies
• Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs
• Handling supplier and internal queries promptly and professionally
• Setting up new suppliers and maintaining accurate supplier records
• Supporting with daily banking tasks and payment allocations
• Assisting with ad hoc finance duties as required

About You

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident using accounting systems and Excel
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and reliable approach to workload management
