The Role

The HR Advisor will act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, providing practical and professional support across the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, wellbeing, and culture.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on HR work with strategic input, helping to shape the employee experience and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries, providing timely and knowledgeable advice.

• Managing the recruitment process end-to-end, including advertising roles, coordinating interviews, and supporting selection.

• Delivering engaging onboarding experiences for new hires.

• Advising managers on employee relations issues, including performance, disciplinary, and grievance matters.

• Maintaining accurate and compliant employee records and HR systems.

• Supporting initiatives that strengthen engagement, reward, and wellbeing.

• Contributing to the management of health, safety, and compliance activities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring a strong generalist HR background and a proactive, people-focused approach. They will combine professionalism with empathy and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience in a generalist HR role.

• Strong understanding of employment law and best practice.

• Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.

• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.

• CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent qualification/experience).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
