I'm working exclusively with a busy and growing group of manufacturing businesses to recruit a Standalone HR Advisor on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, hands-on HR professional to join a dynamic environment where you can really make an impact.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of day-to-day HR operations across multiple sites, supporting managers with all aspects of HR and ensuring smooth and compliant people practices throughout the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for all HR matters across the business
  • Advising managers on employee relations issues including absence, performance, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity across various departments
  • Maintaining and updating employee records, HR systems, and ensuring compliance with employment law
  • Assisting with policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes
  • Managing training records and supporting development initiatives
  • Supporting payroll processes with accurate HR data
  • Contributing to employee engagement and well-being initiatives
  • Travelling between local sites when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role - ideally in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable working in a standalone capacity and taking initiative
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • A confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified (or working towards)
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel across sites when needed
