Adaptable Recruitment is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an Outbound Telesales professional to join a global leading company based in the Liverpool area. You'll become part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, thriving sales environment
Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience
Working hours: 8.30 - 5.30 fully office based - over time available
Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank
Benefits: Performance Related Bonus
Main Purpose of the Role:
To generate sales and repeat business to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact potential and current customers over the phone to promote and sell products/services
- Follow up with customers who have expressed interest in company's products/services
- Answer questions about products and/or the company
- Understand customer requirements
- Assist with orders.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Update and maintain customer information in the company's database
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
- Responsible and accountable for your sales performance
- Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Meet and exceed sales targets consistently
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
- Sales orientated team player with a strong confident phone manner
- Cold calling ability with excellent listening and communication skills
- Confident and assertive with energy and enthusiasm
- Resilient with the ability to thrive in a target driven environment
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
- Flexible attitude and willingness to learn
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
- Knowledge of sales techniques and principles is important
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient command of English, both written and verbal
- Work well under pressure, self-motivated and ability to work to targets and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to liaise with all departments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel), with the confidence and ability to be trained on in-house systems
