Sales Coordinator

Runcorn | Full-Time | Up to £34,000 (DOE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the electrical wholesale / hazardous area equipment industry for a driven and proactive Internal Account Manager to join a growing and well-established business.
This role sits at the heart of the sales operation - perfect for someone who enjoys managing customer relationships, driving sales performance, and working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

The Role
You'll be responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts while supporting the wider sales function. This is a highly dynamic position where you'll coordinate the sales process end-to-end and play a key role in helping the business achieve its targets.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing sales quotations, orders, and purchase orders efficiently
  • Managing and developing assigned customer accounts
  • Proactively following up on quotations to win business
  • Expediting orders and resolving queries with customers and suppliers
  • Handling returns and non-conformances in line with procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records
  • Supporting Business Development Managers
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a wholesale environment (essential)
  • Electrical industry experience (preferred but not essential)
  • A sales-driven, ambitious mindset with a proactive approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • Confident using IT systems and CRM tools
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
