Purpose of the Role
As a HR Business Partner, you will consult with SLT, initiate , implement and review changes to the people strategy and act as a trusted partner to leaders across the organisation. You will help embed cultural change, improve engagement, strengthen leadership capability and ensure people initiatives align with business priorities. Working as part of a collaborative and growing HR team, you will support projects across talent, wellbeing, development, internal communications and people operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic People Partnership
- Work closely with managers to shape and deliver people plans aligned to organisational goals.
- Support organisational design, workforce planning and capability development.
- Coach and guide leaders on HR matters, helping them build confident, high‑performing teams.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Help embed a positive, inclusive and values‑led culture.
- Support wellbeing, mental health and inclusion initiatives.
- Contribute to internal communications that strengthen alignment, clarity and engagement.
People Operations & Talent
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and development activity.
- Assist in designing and delivering leadership and learning programmes.
- Ensure HR policies, systems and processes are efficient, compliant and people‑focused.
- Provide HR insights and reporting to support informed decision‑making.
Workplace & Culture Projects
- Support workplace improvement and culture‑building projects.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at creating a modern, flexible and engaging working environment.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies.
- Support best practice across data protection, Health & Safety and general HR governance.
- Assist with HR documentation, reporting and preparation for audit processes.
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Experience as a HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law and generalist HR practices.
- Demonstrated ability to support cultural change and engagement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder‑management, coaching and communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and commercially aware.
Desirable
- Experience in purpose‑driven or regulated environments.
- Exposure to wellbeing, inclusion or internal communications activity.
- Experience supporting organisational or workplace transformation.
